About

Interaction Designer

As a media artist and researcher, Jean Chu creates interactive multi-media installations that recreate stories of personal memories, mythologies, identity, belonging, and socio-cultural issues. She is a PhD candidate at the Georgia Institute of Technology where she designs interactive applications that support tangible and narrative engagement with cultural exhibits or historical museums. In addition to research in interactive media, Jean has a strong background in the fine arts. Jean received her masters degree in Digital Art from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York in 2011 and her bachelors degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in Painting in 2008 from Seoul National University.
